We have stayed at Vratchia twice before. All rooms have great views but we prefer the front of the hotel looking straight out to sea. We requested one of these rooms & the owners confirmed by email that this was possible. The apartment was great. A small kitchen with all the necessary utensils, bathroom with shower over the bath, a living room/diner with two comfortable sofas & table, and a lovely bedroom! Comfortable bed, ample wardrobes & drawers, dressing table with mirror & hair dryer. Best of all was the fantastic view over the Med, then out onto the balcony to soak up the morning heat & full sun in the afternoon! Wonderful! (This was a Standard room which will be upgraded in the near future.) The sunsets are spectacular & in April at 19.15 your balcony is the best place to enjoy it! The hotel offers all meals if required, but this stay we ate breakfast on the balcony & dinner out & about. However in the past we've eaten here & the food was great. The pool area is superb with a bar & food available & ample loungers & seats. The Housekeeping staff are great. Bed sheets were changed twice, floors swept & mopped, towels changed as required - everything you'd expect in a first class hotel. There is a lovely walk along the cliff tops on a good surface, approx 2.5 miles to the end & back which gave us a good excuse to over indulge in food & drink all holiday long! The hotel is on the outskirts of Kissonegra which is about 8 miles from Paphos. A hire car is perfect but the local bus service runs at the end of the road, 500m from the hotel. Vratchia is an adults only venue so it is a quiet, relaxing place to spend a week. We love this hotel & can't praise the friendly staff & the facilities available. Can't wait to visit again.

What a gem of a place. So peaceful and relaxing. The hotel is a small, family run self catering hotel with a small restaurant for breakfast, poolside snacks or evening meal. Plus points - Our 1bed apartment 304, was amazing, top floor, only 3 floors, double aspect out to sea and fabulous views of the sunset . Lovely balcony with comfortable chairs and a table. VERY quiet rooms did not hear a thing from other quests in 2 weeks. Both the living room/kitchen and bedroom felt very spacious with the vaulted ceilings. They both open up onto the balcony with huge patio doors, (which you could open with 1 finger). Massive (immaculately clean white sheets) comfortable bed, made every day for you. The cleaners are great too, they came every day, bedding and towels changed regularly. Pool towels provided which you picked up and dropped off poolside as little or often as you wished and not limited to 1 per person. Never a problem getting a sunbed and no one was out at sunrise to book one. Waiter service at your sunbed or table in the shade, Cyprus can be very very hot if you've not been before by the way. Snacks and drinks not over priced. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We had a couple of things malfunction, handy man arrived within minutes and fixed it. Very friendly and apologised for the inconvenience. It's quite up and down in this area so if you are not a good walker and like to get out, maybe not the area for you. Breakfast was good, choice of hot and cold food, reasonably price too. But, the star of Vrachia is Kirsty, what an asset to the hotel she is. She was always happy to help with her friendly, warm, sincere, nothing was a problem attitude. Minus points - I don't have any!

Beautiful scenery. Breakfast was very good and options changed on a daily basis. No noise at all, and the parking lot was extremely convenient. Cleaning and reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. On top I really admired that the hotel trapped and neutered the cats at their area, besides providing them with food and water. It was such a relief to know that they are taking care since having multiple strays fighting was a common scene in the other hotels nearby, and watching that can cause discomfort. As tourists in Cyprus and given the stray cats overpopulation situation, I can't recommend it enough to support with carrying food/water while exploring and contributing to animals services, even though locals are keen to help. I left food and spray anti mites with the hotel staff, hope those support during the low season time. I totally recommend Vrachia and will be happy to come back. Thank you again.

Breakfast was fabulous. Every day different choice of both sweet/salty choices, with fruits, pastry, hams, cheese, etc. The buffet is not overly large, but is always refilled, thus it never happened we would be lacking choices. Overall the hotel is cozy and relaxing place to stay. It was rather quite, with very enjoyable time around pool (where no kids are running and screaming like crazy). Rooms were spacious, extremely clean!!!, AC well working and overall quite nice staff. Beach is approx. 100m from hotel, parking is in private hotel lot. We would like to recommend stay in the hotel

We stayed here for 5 nights in May. We loved the fact it is adults only, it made the stay a lot more relaxing! The staff are lovely and helpful and the views superb. It has a great pool on the cliff overlooking the sea and there were always sun loungers available and nobody did the silly "dawn dash" to reserve the best ones. Our room had a small terrace with the same fabulous view. There is a large car park at the rear and there were always plenty of spaces. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that. Overall it was a nice stay and we would stay again.
